It's insulting that they didn't even put together a video for the award show...!

I thought so too. Especially as it was pretty obvious we were going to win, since we had taken the lead for weeks.

They say in the video "Hello MTV, hello Amsterdam", like if it was supposed to air during the show, but I find it strange that MTV would not air the video if they had it at the time...
They really did shove the announcement as fast as they can on the red carpet, without commenting in any way, just before the last commercial break.

Maybe I wouldn't mind as much if I hadn't spent that much time on that f**ing MTV website that kept lagging and bugging (I barely got my 10 points/day a handful of times, and had to try some actions several times before the point got added up to my total).

So... I had already decided I would no longer vote for the MTV Musical March Madness since we got cheated, but I think I'll also abstain from voting for future stuff. Unless it's quick and easy.
