Well if it makes you feel better I wasn't aware of an LJ strike until just now and I did indeed make a post in the G'boro community on Friday. Oh wait, unless you mean that you accidentally participated in LJ when you should've been striking, in that case we both messed up.
Say hi to yo' momma for me, maybe she has some more awesome career advice to pass on, since the whole "becoming a judge" thing didn't pan out. Hopefully her visit is short and sweet and she doesn't break anything.
You're right about that video, it's both beautiful and disturbing, especially if you've seen Todd Solondz's film Palindromes, from which that song was taken. I recommend the movie, especially if you've seen Welcome to the Dollhouse because the beginning ties into it.
