So I went to GenCon. I won't bother with the goings on of it all. It was both good and bad for me, enough about that. Originally I had put a room on a hold. I canceled the room reserve. Got charge the 50 for canceling. And thought everything was all well and good. Come Friday however I discovered I had over draft fees when I know I shouldn't have.

Can you take it up with the hotel at all? And when did you cancel? I know some hotels have a period of time that you can't cancel after without being charged a full night's stay; the Hyatt for Acen had a date like that. It might just be a mistake with the hotel and I would definitely bring it up to them. :[ That really sucks.

I canceled on August 3rd the end date before I would have gotten charged for a full night's stay. =A= And they still did it regardless. I've called the hotel but I won't hear anything from most likely till tomorrow. I'm hoping that they do call me back tho'. I also called the GenCon housing Bureau and gave them my number. I also made sure to give my cancellation number to both parties. All I can do is wait now. =A='
