The mourning dove that has been sitting in our tree just outside the porch cooing trying to find a mate has taken up residence in the palm tree.  He now sleeps here at night as well as hanging out during the day.  Sooo cute!

People in a local town have been given airhorns to help with coyotes.  Apparently, 3 cats may have been eaten by coyotes.  
Yup, it's the coyotes fault.  Never mind the stupid pet owners who think nothing will happen to Fifi if she's left outside all night.  Oh, and handing out airhorns?  Yeah, I'm sure that wasn't a bad idea...
