Happy New Years!!
So, I didn't do much for my own New Years Eve, but I did watch Kouhaku in the early morning of the 31st =P (real time). I didn't watch Kouhaku last year. To be honest, Arashi being the host wasn't much of an incentive as Kouhaku has always bored me, but this year with Inoue Mao being the host for akagumi, and Arashi hosting for shirogumi... there was no way I could miss it. I'm glad i watched Kouhaku this year because it was actually very entertaining this time around. Mao did an amazing job MC-ing. Her energy, and enthusiasm throughout the show was amazing, to be honest I think she did a better job than Arashi. As for MaoJun moments, I wasn't expecting anything much since this is a big event but there were small things here and there, mostly subtle glances and Jun not-so-subtly standing VERY close to her with the Arashi members standing a bit off to the side. Others might be disappointed but I'm perfectly happy with the small things cause, somehow, I feel like it's the small glances and gestures they share that mean the most.
anyway. Enough blabbing about Kouhaku. I could write an essay on that (and I might later, when I manage to download a proper version that doesn't lag for the 1st hour of the show... D=). But anyway, I decided to this small New Years meme.
