Last night I was fortunate enough to be able to go see Ohno’s new movie, Shinobi no Kuni at the Toronto Japanese Film Festival. I really enjoyed it and decided to write a little review about it. I was actually spoiled by a photo on FB. I can't resist wanting to know about the plot so I decided to read the manga and came here and read your review instead of waiting to watch SNK. Thank you for your review. I think I am going to have a roller coaster feel when I finally watch the movie. And I am so glad that the director made things lighter than the manga since it already broke my heart at the scene Okuni passed away. :___:

i really enjoyed reading ur review..if u asked me..i prefer ohno being this kind of ninja rather than serious one..anyway...cant wait to watch the movie..definitely interesting movie to watch..really hope i can watch it with subbed though..tq again..:)

I tried to read the manga.... too dark for my liking...
Your review is amazing!! It is going to help me to understand better the movie when I have the opportunity to watch to it.
Like you, I shipped Ohno and Satomi for this movie. Okuni's fate was a shock to me (✖╭╮✖), but I am sure that this is definitely a great movie and I can't wait to see it!!!
