A/N: okay so i'm back still frustrated with my recent post that was accidentally deleted. so this is a new one for hannah-chan :> comments are appreciated seriously!
PROLOGUE
"I don't like her, okay?!" Chinen muttered angrily while slamming the table as he stood up, leaving his friends Yuto and Ryosuke dumbfounded.
"Is he mad?" Yamada asked while facing Yuto with a worried look on his face.
Yuto rolled his eyes and sarcastically said, "No, Yamada. He was so happy that he slammed the table."
"Yeah right. But he was so irritated I was just teasing him." Yamada asserted.
Yuto affirmed, "How kind of you to tease him to someone he doesn't like."
"Hana is pretty, nice and smart you know, I was expecting he would just be happy about it."
"Chinen just broke up with Kawashima-san, Don't expect him to get over her after their 3 years together."
"I was just helping him."
"He doesn't like your way of helping, Yama-chan."
"Okay fine fine. You win, you win." Yamada sighed, going back to his proper seat.
On the other hand, Chinen was still frustrated with the his best friend. He was walking on the hallway going to who knows where until he bumped on a Hana and the juice she was holding accidentally spilled on his school uniform. Flustered he was, Chinen looked at her with intimidating eyes.
"I'm sorry. I was just--"
"Look at what you've done!! I can't believe this!" Chinen yelled while dusting his shirt. He didn't mind the other students looking at his cruelness..He thinks it's no time to be the good guy now.
Hana was really sorry as she tried to wipe his shirt, "I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to.."
Chinen looked at her and was stunned to know she was Hana, the girl Yamada was teasing him. He was too consumed that he blurted things out, "How could I even like a girl like you! Look at yourself, damn it!"
"Hey hey, Chinen! Chill out. She's just a girl." Yamada agonized, suddenly popping out from the scene.
Chinen sighed, "Go! Go and defend her as usual."
"Chinen, just because you just went through a break up you can already treat girls like this!" Yamada argued while telling Hana to just stay back.
"Stop this whole thing! Yamada-kun, Chinen-kun, Nozomi-san, Detention after school!" Fujimoto-sensei declared, appearing unexpectedly from the hallway and walking out. lol wth
and before Hana could properly apologize, she was left by the last sentence Chinen had told her before leaving,
"I hate you! I don't even wanna see your face again!"

Time passed by, Classes began, Chinen and Yamada never consulted each other. It was good Yuto was there to accompany Chinen while Hana was being accompanied by Ryosuke. Then it was already their dismissal and the three were bound to attend detention before going home.
Detention was fine..nothing really happened..They just sat there and well..their misunderstandings weren't even fixed.
"Yamada-kun, I'm sorry..you got involved." Hana said feeling guilty.
Yamada smiled, "It's alright. I just felt sorry for you because..you like him and well..he was--"
"Yeah. I understand. He won't like a girl like me." Hana frowned.
"You know you look prettier when you smile. You must smile always ne." Yamada chuckled. "So, I think I should walk you home today. Okay?"
Hana giggled, "Okay, Thanks."
--Meanwhile, Chinen heard everything they have said. His fist curled up into a ball.
Why am I even like this...
I hate her....
for being too close to him...
'cause I'm jealous...
