CHAPTER TWO
It was already midnight and Yamada was obliged to go to the blood donation center asap. Chinen was staying at the hospital chairs by Hana's room window while glancing at her lying unconscious on the bed. He face palmed himself for what he can do now is wait.

Meanwhile after an hour, Yamada's blood donation already progressed and was successful. He was finally relieved that after sometime later, Hana would be fine...because of him..and him alone.
"Yamada-kun, please take a rest for awhile. Take this fluid and just relax." The nurse instructed while covering the part of his arm with a soft cotton.
Yamada nodded, leaned his head backwards and closed his eyes as he fell to dreamland.

"We will be having the blood transfusion now, Chinen-kun. Yamada-kun's blood donation came out well. We will be transfusing one pint so just please wait outside and hope for wellness." The doctor initiated as he entered the room and covered it with a specialized curtain. [A/N: lol i'm not even good at this hospital stuffs -__-]
...After what seemed like eternity for Chinen, the doctor finally came out. He immediately stood up and went to him to hear the good news.
"It luckily turned out quite well and she'll be hopefully up after some time. You can take a rest now, Chinen-kun. Oh, It's 2am now, i'll be having more patients upstairs. I'll see you around." The doctor mentioned as he went upstairs with his assistant.
Chinen went inside and walked to the side of the bed. "I'm sorry." He whispered feeling guilty of treating her wrong from the first place. "I should have acted nice to you.."
He looked at her sleeping face and his heart skipped a beat. She was indeed beautiful, and Yamada was certainly right. She looked like an angel---
---His trip to dreamland got postponed and was alarmed when his phone enlightened and rang. It was his mom calling him. She glanced at Hana and answered the phone.
"Ka-chan?"
"Yuri! Oh God! What on Earth happened to you? Where are you? It's pass 2am, honey, you're getting all of us worried." Chinen's mom agitated.
"I--I'm fine ka-chan. I'm at the hospital right now because Nozomi-san was badly injured. She saved me from a rampaging car this morning, I have to take care of her. Sorry I forgot to give you a call." Chinen supposed.
"Oh my! I hope she'll be fine. By the way, Yuri, I consulted Umika and she said she'll be visiting you there."
"Ka-chan! Why did you asked her to come over here?!"
"She's worrying about you too, Yuri."
"Okay fine. I have to go now. And...please tell Ryosuke's parents..he's fine too."
"Oh okay. Take care. I'll give you a call later. Jyaa."
A knock from the window got his attention and it was unfortunately, Umika. He went out to talk to her and was greeted by her hug.
"Yuri, you got me worried! Thank God you're fine." Umika alleged.
"Thanks to her." Chinen mentioned while looking at Hana inside.
"You should have called me. You know I'm always just a phone call away from you, Yuri." Umika said smiling.
Chinen looked at the other direction and sighed, "Umika, you're not my girlfriend anymore..."
Hearing this, Umika chuckled a bit and caressed Chinen's cheek, "Even if I'm not you're girlfriend anymore I can still do this right?" She closed her eyes and leaned in for a kiss.
Chinen was a bit shocked, but something was just bothering him. He wanted to pull away at that moment but at the same time, he wants to kiss back. He really missed kissing her sweet tempting lips after all...He wasn't able to hold himself back as he closed his eyes to savor the kiss Umika was giving him. She wrapped her arms around his neck while deepening the kiss.
The kiss lasted long, but Chinen pulled away when he saw Hana's image pop out on his head..
"Just..forget this, Umika. It's 3am already, I'll drive you home." Chinen said with a serious look on his face.
"I love you, Yuri. I still do..and I will always do." Umika smiled while following Chinen's step to the parking lot.

On the other hand, Hana was already awake. She felt her heart was ripped off from her chest when she saw Chinen kissing Umika. She can't help but to cry until Ryosuke came inside and saw her in despair.
"Hana! You're awake! Stop crying now..Hana..please.." Yamada said while hugging her.
"Ryosuke..Why does he have to hurt me like this..I did everything for him...and it hurts a lot...Ryosuke..a lot.." Hana screamed in pain while holding onto her chest.
Ryosuke was in pain too..He is getting hurt, every time she's hurt. "Shh. Hana, please stop crying now..It hurts me to see you like that..."
"Ryo..Ryosuke.." Hana managed to say between her sobs. "You know I love him so much that it hurts me too much.."
"I hate him now! I hate him! I hate him! How could he be this cruel! Ahhh!!!" She yelled as she tightened her hug on him and buried her face on his chest.
"Sh..I'm always here..I'll always be here.." Yamada whispered on her ears.

Chinen was walking on the hospital's hallway and he had already drove Umika home. He slowly opened Hana's room and was stunned when he heard faintly sobs. He peeked, and saw Hana crying on Ryosuke's arms.
He frowned and quickly closed the door
..and for the second time.....
.....he lost...
...to his best friend....
