"There must be some misunderstanding..There must be some kind of mistake.."
CHAPTER FOUR
Chinen was so drunk but he magically managed to reach Umika's place safely. He knocked on the door 3 times but still no one answered.
Of course, what would you expect? It's almost 5am and the sun will rise in any minute. He tried knocking harder and a light that flickered from the bedroom upstairs made him sigh in relief. He knew it really well that Umika wasn't really a heavy sleeper at all.
She opened the door and was stunned to see him. "Yuri, what are you doing here? And what happened to you?"
"I need y--" and before he could finish his sentence, he stumbled upon her.
Umika helped him and pushed him slightly on the couch while closing the door. She sat near his shivering body and checked his forehead. "You're having a high fever!"
She was about to stand up when Chinen grabbed her arm and uttered while eyes still half closed, "I love you, Please take care of me."
Umika smiled and nodded, "Yes. Yes I will."
She then went upstairs to get some medicine and her dad's spare t-shirt. Her parents weren't luckily home for one week because of a career trip.
Umika then went back downstairs bringing the things she needed. She woke Chinen a bit so she could change his shirt. Once Umika had removed Chinen's shirt, He then went back to sleep.
"Chinen, don't be topless here!"
"I feel hot..Look I'm sweating.." Chinen defended.
She just sighed, "Fine fine. Drink this medicine so you would cool down."
As instructed to do so, Chinen swallowed the medicine and went back to sleep...topless D:

On the other hand, Hana and Ryosuke were already agreed to move out. It was almost 6:30am and they were arranging their things up when Yamada saw something.
"Uhm, Hana, Is this Chinen's phone?"
"Eh? I--I don't think so. As far as I know, Chinen's phone is black."
"Then who's phone is this?"
"Check it out."
Yamada pressed the screen and was a bit surprised, "Ah, I guess this is Kawashima-san's phone ne."
"How did you know?" Hana paused.
"The wallpaper is her picture with Chii." Yamada amused. "Ah! Why am I even saying this to you! Sorry."
"No, it's fine." She forced a smile, "Why don't we bring it back to her? She might be looking for it."
"Eh? Are you serious?!" Yamada questioned and earned a nod from her.

They haild a cab and went to Umika's place. It wasn't far from the hospital, and Yamada already went there with Chinen last time so they didn't have a hard time on going there.
A light knock on the door woke Umika up. She settled herself and opened the door.
"Oh, what brings you here? Yamada-kun? Nozomi-san?"
"Umika, who's ou--" Chinen had managed to stood up and walk by the door. He was paused when she saw her and him.
"Kawashima-san, you forgo--" and same with Hana who was stunned when she saw Chinen topless, inside Umika's home.
"Ch--Chinen?" Yamada called just to make sure.
"Could that be--" Hana questioned while in pure shock.
"No! It's not of what you think!" Chinen defended while grabbing Hana's arm when she's about to run away.
Hana gasped and tried resisting his grip, "Let go of me!"
"Why are you pushing me away?!" Chinen yelled while loosing his grip.
"Pushing you away?" She began to cry. "Can’t you see this is my desperate cry, my agonizing screams? Can’t you see I am holding on what seems to be nothing? It’s as if I am holding onto a string off a cliff!"
Ryosuke went by her side and said, "Hana, calm down.."
"No, Ryosuke! I am not going to calm down!" Hana yelled while tears streaming down her face and looking back to Chinen with Umika on her side, "I just need you to need me back and I just want to be your first choice! I never was and it is all that I ask! I must seem pretty pathetic to you now but I don’t care!"
"It seems as though everything I gave, which was everything I had, was not enough. I am sorry I dont know how to give more than everything I have! I wish I knew how to be better, to be the person you want. But I guess it's too late for wishing!" Hana panted deeply while Ryosuke comforting her from beside.
Hana was in major agony. It was now or never for her, "I say all these things, but I know you won’t. I know nothing will change. I know nothing will happen but I still keep waiting. I still hope. I still wish for the impossible. I'm hurting like hell! Do you even know that?! Why can't you just think of me the way I think of you?!"
"I'm sorry.." Those were the 2 words Chinen spilled out.
"I'm not ready to forgive you." And with that, She started calling a cab. Chinen tried to catch up but Yamada blocked his way. "I love her! Don't block my way please."
"If you love her, she won't be your second choice.." Yamada said. "You had hurt her a lot of times and If you truly love her, you'll set her free.." He then slipped inside the cab, Hana hailed.
I was taken aback with what Yamada said. He knew me really well.
But I guess if I love you....
