I am thinking, for some reason, that it'd be a great idea to sell off everything on my lv 73 Hunter, and giving all the proceeds to a re-rolled Hunter. Suggestions?

Rerolling from what to what? I mean, if you're switching factions, maybe....but if it's just racial envy...

That is a terrible idea if rep / old receipies and rewards mean anything to you.

Destroying a toon that you've spent a lot of time on is irreversible while gold is easy to come by. ESPECIALLY in wow. Just farm if you want to make a new hunter imo.

I haven't even been playing for a year, and all the recipes my dude knows are still fairly available, so I dunno. Ditto for all the factional rep stuff.

This. Unless you're in a high-powered endgame raid guild. In which case, clean out the guild bank, THEN go for it.
