SO!? Just THINK of the slash possibilities! ...no...
I just think it's interesting that she chooses now, after everything is said and done to out him. Especially considering there was nothing (that I ever interpreted as) pointing to him being homosexual. Granted, it certainly does make his backstory with Grindelwald make all the more sense, I just don't see why it's neccessary beyond that.
I have some problems with it, but I basically just find it really, really funny. Because--seriously. If you were to pick a character in HP who might be gay, what are the odds that it would've been DUMBLEDORE?
I don't really see what it has to do with anything, honestly. So okay, he's gay...and if it was a big deal, it would've been on page in the books. It's like extra canon. Also, "Dumbledore is gay and was in love with Grindelwald" strikes me as a VERY BAD fanfic plot rather than a legitimate idea within the series.
Nearly all of DH struck me as bad fanfic anyway. Severus and Lily? Blech. Ron and Hermione? Obvious. Harry and Ginny? Cute, but...meh.
As for Dumbledore being gay - doesn't change my opinion of him/the books/his relationship with Harry in the slightest. I'll admit it surprised me, as I always kind of saw him as asexual anyway...
I'm surprised Theresa responded with a somewhat liberal answer, and not 'ZOMG teh ANTI CHRIST...with a beard and spectacles and lemon drops!!!! HELL IS NOW LEMON FLAVORED! WHAT WILL WE DO NOW? WHAT CAN BE DONE?!!?!!'

I'm so happy to see that kids these days are growing up with FAR more tollerance than any generation before has ever had!
