I LOVE MUCHA. I asked my parents for a book of his artwork last year for the holidays and we still can't decide on which one because there are SO MANY PRETTY BOOKS.

TRUE FACT: The little bubbly things in the background are blastocysts! Klimt chillaxed with an embryologist back in the day. This is what my dev bio prof taught us!

Thanks so much! Tiffany did do other stuff, but his glasswork is far and away what he's most known for. His company was called Tiffany Glass & Co., I believe, so I felt comfortable primarily referring to him as a glass guy.

And thank you so much for the artist recs!

Edit: Those cross-stitches are def. Art Nouveau inspired, but I'd say your fantasy fellow is far more Pre-Raphaelite, which, incidentally? Other favorite period.

My family always thinks my Art Nouveau thing is weird, but they're a bunch of Impressionist and Realist fans. PAH. THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE GENIUS THAT IS GRAPHIC DESIGN.

lkasjflksdj BRAIN TWINS! Waterhouse and the Pre-Raphaelites are my other favorites! I think my favorite of his is the one he did of the Tempest, you know, where she's standing on the beach? LOVE.
