It makes you sound really douchey. And that's pronounced douchey, not dou-shay.

A few quick things!

ONE: My laptop's fan is misaligned again and keeps hitting something and sparking, unless I keep it on a totally flat surface and do not move it. Which happened around this time last year, too. I could send it in to Lenovo to get it fixed, but the last time I did that it took them nearly two weeks to do, which is totally ( Read more... )

I have actual thoughts on this entry, but at this point all are overridden by the voice of that kid who says "charlie bit my finger" and imagining that he said this "HURRAH, CHARLIE. YOU'RE SUCH A BRAVE GERBIL." too. CAN'T UNHEAR.

I hope you get your laptop fixed bb. The only reason I could live without mine (though not when school's back omg never) is because we have 2 desktops and an iPhone and an iPod touch, so I think I'd mostly survive.

I used to do google analytics on my site, back when I hosted Merlin eps there, but then people just reposted the link and my bandwidth went KABOOM and I had to stop before everything got shut down.

United State of Pop 2009 is so much better than 2010. And also - why wouldn't you use 2008 for this, if you were looking for any sort of trends... /enabler

I am guilty of squashing Charlie's face and going "LET'S GO TO CANDY MOUNTAIN, CHARLIE!" which he does not appreciate.

IDK, I just didn't think before 2009 was as thoroughly... mashed together? Like it seemed way more choppy and less I HAVE MELTED EVERYTHING TOGETHER INTO THE CONDENSED VERSION OF THE YEAR.

Aww, poor Charlie!

You're right, 2008 was definitely less coherent in some ways, but you could probably still use it. The ~academic~ (lolololol okay there) in me is all OMG LISTEN TO ALL THE SONGS. WRITE DOWN ALL THE LYRICS. DO SEARCHES AND WORD CLOUDS! But the lazy part of me (read: all of me) is like...lol nah. But I do think it's a cool project to undertake and would love to see the results.

Also - just realized how 'cool story, bro' my previous comment was. Sorry =x

Google Analytics is fascinating, a little freaky, and totally a time sponge. Um, but which part tells you what search terms people are using to find your LJ? Is that "key words" or something like that?

Yeah, key words! The other that's popular is like HOW TO STOP BEING SAD AND MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE or something, which is... weird.

Wot? That's how people are finding your LJ, through that phrase?? That's um, completely weird. I look on there occasionally to reassure myself that people are actually looking at my stuff. LOL

I decided to take a look at those key words for my LJ, out of curiosity, and someone found my LJ by searching for YOU. Not sure how that happened, but it amused me. They spent 0 minutes there though, since OBVIOUSLY I'M NOT YOU.
