I harbor a small, tentative hope that the Blue Jackets will actually become a respectable team within the next few years, but I realize that's driven more by my Midwest feels and kneejerk support of the underdog than, you know, rationality. Every time I see someone shit on Columbus, I'm like, "there's nothing wrong with the city! It has really good ice cream! It's just the team that sucks.' Well, team management too

Dude, I am inherently a coastal person, so I have to be like, convinced that Columbus is a place that anyone would want to go, but I am willing to listen to your pitch.

I root for the Yankees and the late 90s were really good for me, not going to lie.

And, aside from all the fandom aspects online, it's actually been fun being able to talk sports with my coworkers (and sometimes strangers on the street)

Isn't it so weird sometimes? Occasionally I'm like, blown away by the fact that I can go watch my fandom in public. IN A BAR. WITH OTHER PEOPLE. Yelling about what happens is not super strange! WTF!
