I would then have most definetly been female. It's almost uncomfortable to put my hands the other way. Assuming things work that way :).

Actually I tried to put my hands in the female postion afterwards to see what that feels like, and that was definetly uncomfortable.

I wonder if you can do both comfortably does that mean that you were androgenous?

I would imagine that you would always have one, even ambidextrous people can use their hands 50/50. But there would have to be a few hermaphrodites too. :)
