Roy Mustang swirled the brown liquid in his cup on the top of a piano, “You know Hughes I think you were right.” The drunken man squinted at dirty old picture that has been looked at, touch far too many times, “you know…” he put his hand to his forehead, “actually I forget, my minds all fuzzy, you know like… oh Chuui what are you here?” the man looked at the blonde woman standing in his doorway.
“You mean why are you here? Sir.”
“You hear that Hughes? She comes barging into my house and goes correcting my grammar.” He said turning to grin at the picture.
“Sir...”she gave a disappointed frown.
“Oh come on Chuui I’m just having a spot of fun.” He grinned at her. She gave a disgruntled click of the tongue before she glance around the room and began straighten in things out.
“Maybe I should of have brought flowers home with me Hughes?” he turned again a winked at the picture before him. She looked up sadly from a pile of clothes she was holding, “what’s wrong?” he questioned as his drunken face contorted to something between sadness and concern.
“Nothing, Sir.” She whispered burying her face in the clothes and began pick up other items.
“Chuui,” he said trying to stand, and when he did he dropped the glass he was holding to the floor. And he stared dumbfounded at the pieces.
“Oh sir.” She said as she rushed over, dropping the clothes on the couch on the way, to pick up the debris.
She extended a hand to grab the largest piece of glass, but he quickly grabbed her wrist before she did, “Leave it.” He said her eyes widened in shock as he looked seriously at her, “your more important.”
“By all means sir it’s just a shard of glass.” It was then he had taken her hand placing it on his face while he caressed it lovingly. A faint ting of red went to her cheeks. He stood pulling her into his arms.
“I promised Maes I do this one day,” he said pushing her back into the piano and kissing her. Lifting her up so she’d sit on case over the piano keys, forcing her legs to support herself on the bench. He spread them far enough apart snake his way in-between them. She then wrapped them around his middle. Her hands began to play with his hair.
They broke apart after what it seemed like ages, “Someone’s eager.” He added grinning.
She gave an indignant huff, “Face the music Mustang, and there is only so much some people can handle before they crack.”
“I’d make you music, but your sitting on my piano.”
“Why do you-?”
“Mother said it was benefiting for a gentleman to be able to entertain his guests.”
“I’m starting to like your mother.” She said with a smile, “what else can you do?”
“Well depends what you want me too.” He said with a devilish grin.
She started laughing. Time and time again Roy Mustang couldn’t get enough of that alluring laugh of hers. Her grip around his middle lessened and he slowly let her feet drop to the floor, holding her close, “I can sing for you…if you want.” he said softly.
She looked up at him happily, “I would love that.”
