For Naka Kon this past year, I spent nearly 100 hours preparing my "Science of Anime" panel. From brainstorming ideas, to research, to the math involved, to the custom animations, to finding appropriate clips to illustrate the idea. The panel went over really well. Maybe talk to the convention and let them know that they are stealing your panel? Also you could see about claiming copyright on the panel, especially since it is an original idea (http://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ1.pdf).

In the end, they're changing the content. They were attempting to find new topics to address (which is a lot harder than it sounds; It took me 5 months), even if it was under the same title. As such, that would be an original work and I wouldn't be able to claim copyright against it.
