Absolutely!
They must be alternated with non-slippery layers so as to adhere said layers of the sandwich together (and the sammich itself!)!
I've been trying to tell Angie for months now that sandwich making is an art, a science. There is more to it than pile some ingredients together. There is a perfect ratio to be achieved! A perfect way to assemble! etc.
