See, this is why I don't really lend out my books in the first place, I can't stand to have them returned in even slightly worse condition than what they would have been in from me reading them. Many books I have read multiple times and they still look like they came right off the shelf. Good luck with your new library policy!

lol while I really don't like lending much either, I feel I need to.. I mean how else can I discuss books with people? Besides a good book is not meant to be hoarded.

Well if it's a good book they need to buy their own copy!

well I AM planning to own a home with my own personal library anyway, so I gotta get used to lending, but I also gotta start enforcing penalties. It's not a public collection.. not just ANYONE can borrow see, I gotta trust the person.

In any case, some people just prefer borrowing. Sometimes people aren't willing to "risk" buying a book they may not like. I'm like that too, but I tend to take chances every now and then. I personally don't borrow just because I prefer owning, and some people are opposite.. you can't expect everyone to be like you.

Hey,

I have that book in perfect condition.. and will bring it at our next meeting - either October Thanksgiving or Christmastime, cuz these are the only times I'll be in Toronto this semester..

Sorry you had to come to the point of making this set of rules.. hopefully they'll work!

ahahaha naw it's okay hun. Trust me I know about forgetting, but my choice to enforce the rules is more a result of an accumulation of experiences. XD
