I've been so blessed lately, so ecstatic. Yesterday I went to my friend's church that was a Missionary Baptist church. It brought back so many memories of the first pastor I had after I got saved. hi i saw what u wrote in "questionofGod" and i really liked what u said. and that verse in Job is by his wife, its one of my favorites. its definately one of those verses that never cease to convict me. im curious tho, what is this sermon about the birth of sin in James? sounds cool.

Yeah, I had heavy conviction about that verse in Job this past semester as well. God told me: "What makes you think you DESERVE to have anything that you prayed for or ever received?" Knowing I was unworthy I quickly humbled myself--God doesn't owe me anything, He's already given his all. So even when times are bad I still owe Him everything for what he has already done ( ... )
