aww, I'm sorry about your situation. And yes, our system DOES suck. Don't need to tell me that, I know it. My family's just lucky as shit that my mom is a nurse, and knows exactly what kind of care to give my dad, and what kinds of things he needs. (They're both lucky they have me to help too.) Otherwise, we'd be paying out of our ears to put him in a nursing home that would neglect him, and probably make him worse, leading to eventual pneumonia or some other illness and death from complications... or he could die from septicemia from a pressure sore poorly treated or not found. Happy thoughts, I know.

We're also lucky my mom's so good at saving money. We can afford to put him in a home for awhile, if need be.

LMAO! Dad wouldn't last a day as a greeter, much less two. Even if he could keep his hands to himself, it would be too difficult for him to wake up every day and get ready so he looked presentable. Maybe that would be good though. Maybe he would scare some business away from Evilmart.

On a side note - that W store came up at lunch today with my aunts and uncles. I was reluctant, but eventually spoke of my disapproval of said store. Some of them got it I think, others were just confused.
