Carcillo! I really like those two together. That and it's weird for me to read Toews with anyone but Kane. I'm strange I know. :)

Well I thought so, too, but something about Toews/Crawford intrigues me.

If I pick Carcillo, I know how I'd do it. Him still with the Hawks, but it being later in the season, and he's out with the knee injury for the season anyway, and swimming would be good rehab, and I'd totally run with that.

oh I like that!! I can see that working very well. :) and Carcillo can be kinda depressed because he's not sure if the Hawks will re-sign him in the off season and Corey's there to not only help him rehab the knee but also to lift his spirits. :)

They're an interesting and weird pairing and they intrigue me. But I still want to use Campoli because I love Crawford/Campoli, and there is also Tazer, you know? IDK. SO MANY DECISIONS.

Danny would be obsessed with being in the sauna all the time and Corey hates the sauna because it's hot and sticky and he just doesn't like it.

That was one of my ideas, the Olympic thing, but if I pair him with Tazer, I want Tazer to still be playing hockey. 's a good idea, though, I'm gonna file that away.

Or Toews is that super intense guy who does crew (professionally? for the Olympics? I'm taking a cue from the comment above) and maybe he trains every once in a while by himself on a lake somewhere in Canada (Winnipeg?), a lake which Corey likes to swim in for fun. And one day after a near collision that was totally Tazer's fault, the jackass, sculling about like it's Lake Toews and doesn't care if he takes anyone's head off with his oars and then IDK. I like this Toews/Crawford pairing though. (Even though in my secret heart of hearts I'm in love with the Kane/Crawford.)

Crow AU! This sounds awesome - Crow totally has the body of a swimmer. Of course, I vote for Carcillo. I can see him trying to fit all that hair into a swim cap - that would be hilarious. Or maybe he's just at the local Y, working on his knee, and he keeps running to Corey in the lockerroom, when Corey smells a bit like chlorine still.

Carcillo seems to be the majority vote, not to mention he's my top choice out of the three..... LOL swim cap. He'd probably refuse to wear one or something, or works out upstairs so he can creep on Corey while he swims or something. :P

I'm glad you do! My original plan was only to write a snippet out of this 'verse but who knows what it'll turn into, hahaha.

okay, so while I'm trying to distract myself from the emotional turmoil that is Sherlock, I figured I'd come back and elaborate a little.

My main sentiment is still TAZER AS A SWIMMER because he totally has the physicality for it and I can just picture him in those tight swimming shorts and and all wet and... I'm digressing. Pairing wise, Campoli is always my number one choice to go with Crawford, but I'd sell a kidney for Tazer in togs... ;-)

Cas is pressuring me to do Carcillo, so I think I'll end up going with that. I don't know why I'm thinking about it this much, I only want to write like a 2k snippet of the 'verse, not the entire thing.
