The Lord has humbled me this weekend. In so many little things in my life He has given me a glimpse of His profound love and it is unbelievable, incomprehnsible and the most beautiful thing I know. Last weekend my parents bought me a printer because I could not afford to buy one myself. I was using Quinn's but that of course was an inconvenience

Praise God for the times he humbles us and breaks down our pride (I guess that's the same thing) by showing us how much he loves us and how much other people love us and how much he will provide for our needs through other people and how little control we truly have in our lives and how little we really can and should try to do to make sure things go the way we want them to or think they ought to. (whew! what a rambling run-on sentence!) I feel like I am constantly being taught this...must be because I am so hard-headed that it takes a lot to get it through to me. Oh, yeah, and it's also a lesson in why fellowship with other believers is so crucial - he designed the body so that he could use us to serve one another and in so doing, humble one another, and go back to what I just said above ;) Wow, how beautifully complicated yet simple and yet how hard it can be for us to get it! Okay, I'm done.
