Anyone know where I can get sheets of bronze in the next couple of days to make stuff for my Hallowe'en costume? I need to make a diadem, armbands and funky earrings (posts not made of bronze, duh

Do you have any local hobby shops? Around here we have one that sells metal sheets, stuff for model trains, dollhouse items, etc.

Am I way off in picturing this as a Wonder Woman costume? :)

I'll be making it something I won't be arrested for wearing on the streets though...covering the boobalas properly.

Why not use

. . . brass instead? Widely available, and when it tarnishes it takes on a bronze-type patina.

Easy to get to tarnish too - just run your hands over it.

well, I was amused by using bronze :) If brass is available, then that would be good too since, well, brass kicks ass :)
