Anyone know where I can get sheets of bronze in the next couple of days to make stuff for my Hallowe'en costume? I need to make a diadem, armbands and funky earrings (posts not made of bronze, duh (

Do you have any local hobby shops? Around here we have one that sells metal sheets, stuff for model trains, dollhouse items, etc.
Am I way off in picturing this as a Wonder Woman costume? :)

yah...a couple thousand years off ;)
Gonna do a proper, period, full white, red, and black face makeup Helen of Troy...actually Sparta and Mycenea :)

. . . brass instead? Widely available, and when it tarnishes it takes on a bronze-type patina.
Easy to get to tarnish too - just run your hands over it.

well, I was amused by using bronze :) If brass is available, then that would be good too since, well, brass kicks ass :)
