Now that the slow zone has been lifted, the elevated section of the Blue Line from California to Damen seems to be a bit rougher than the rest. This section appears to be the oldest part of the O'Hare branch, so it may just be in contrast to the rest of the ride

I've noticed this a lot too, recently. Mostly when I end up standing on my ride to work, as it's more noticeable than when sitting down. Never really thought it seemed as bad on the way home from work but it could just be me not paying attention.

Glad to know they were interested in hearing about it. Hopefully it'll be looked into. I know there was a few times it was quite scary in my opinion.

That is good that the CTA is paying attention because there are some stops on the Red Line where you feel like you have to hold onto the seat in front of you.

I've noticed it, too. Usually while clutching the seat in front of me and holding my breath.
