I think I will love the ease of short hair. But *wibbles* I'm afraid of what I'll look like, lol. There's no reason why I should look horrible, but I've always been convinced I would.

Thankfully, at least Hei's hair isn't TOTALLY short. It's kinda long on top, but doesn't go past his ears. Ish. And it's all messy. I think it'll look cool. There's just this voice in me that's going "OMG, SO SHORT" *facepalms*

I would love to come with XD You can see how slow-ass I am, though at least by then I should be able to run 5 km without stopping. It should be fun XD

I agree with chichiri - watch it! And read the manga too. It has been licensed but there are still some online scans getting around. They are a little different from each other but both very cool.

I have a somewhat OT question for you: I am keen on joining the obscurefandom group, but a little worried because a) the two fandoms I want to write about aren't listed as interests in the profile and b) I don't know if the fic I have in mind would coincide well with the monthly theme. Should I still join up? Since you're the maintainer, I thought I'd ask. :-D

I'm kinda in awe, too. It doesn't quite seem like me. *chuckles* But I haven't stopped yet, which must mean something.

Um, the short answer is: of course you should join!

I'm not sure why the fact that it's not listed as an interest should stop you. For one thing, I discovered that there is a limit to the number of interests that LJ lets you have. I started off with the idea of putting all the fandoms in the interests so people could search and find them, but I wasn't able to put everything on there. If you want to know what fandoms are accepted, look at the 'Accepted Fandoms' link in the profile, and if it's not there, make the suggestion in our Suggestion Box. Unless your fandoms are fairly popular, I'm sure it'll make the cut.

As for your b) our monthly theme changes every month. Wildly *grins* For one thing, this month we HAVE no fic theme. You can go ahead and sign up for the bingo and post any fic you want.

I don't think either of the fandoms I left on the suggestion box page are particularly popular. I'm excited to join, now!

I have no real useful suggestions for Lavi's hammer except that you could probably use cylinder type large ice-cream containers as a base of sorts. although they do taper a little at the base to be smaller *ponders* hmmm just ignore me ;)

I *think* we're planning on using planter foam for the base, or one of those cardboard tubes that like, carpeting comes from. I can't remember.
