a decent que can cost from 150USD to 15,000USD depending on who makes it and how fancy it is. I have one que that I've been using for 35 years, I got it as a gift. I love that que and I perform at my best with it. OTOH, I have another, fancy graphite, que that's a bit too heavy, has too thick a tip shank, and reduces my performance a bit (throws off my stroke). Old faithful cost about 20USD, when new, the fancy graphite job cost 300USD, 10 years ago.

As with any other sport, fit and function doesn't have to cost dearly and looks doesn't always get you the fit and function. I've found golf clubs to fall out the same way. Go with the least amount that will get you the fit and function and not a cent less.

Euros are about on a par with USD. Cues are easy to get, but the important thing is TRY before you buy. If you get the cheap cue because it fits and is easy to use, you'll play a lot better than with the fancy one.
