Oh, thank you. Three days makes sense, Peter's transition from knowing to not knowing, so well done, the use of memory to give him faith that she's alive, and the explanation for why he's using the other Olivia. This makes the ending a little more endurable. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I just... I don't see Peter not suspecting something is up, although I do think the story will play out for at least half a season. He might be in love, but he's not an idiot.

I really hope JJ has at least Peter notice that something is off fairly quickly. The two Olivias are very different, especially in the way they carry themselves. It would be kind of stupid if he doesn't pick up on that. Heck, he figured out his own status almost immediately after being given his first real clue. Peter's a smart man, this should be no different.

And yes, for using the AltOlivia doesn't like alcohol detail.

I like how he's hard on himself for not knowing it's AltOlivia right away. Three days really isn't that long of a time given the fact that he's got alot to think about in regards to Walter & Walternate and being back, but I bet that he has to feel guilty all the same because -- as you put -- Olivia crosses universes to save him.

I like how he can think back and remember the Walternate from his childhood, knows that the sadistic bastard has her alive.

I like that you go back to the con artist aspect of his personality. And oh, heck yes there will be hell to pay. HIs father wanted to use him as a weapon well...he's gonna be a weapon alright. Gah, love it. Thanks!

*laughs* I didn't even remember the three days it took for Peter to wake up! Damn, I wish I had done that deliberately. Oh, well, maybe my hindbrain remembered and snuck it in there.

I miss conartist Peter. I really hope they bring it back next season.

This is going in my mental canon, as I'm pretty sure he'll figure it out at about the pace you've mentioned. It'll take him a couple of days probably but he WILL figure it out, and if he does indeed use his former con artist tricks to figure out how to get Olivia back from the Other Side, I think I might fall even more in love with Peter's character than I already am.

I like the voice you've given him here. It's intelligent, determined, and sneaky--all the trademarks of the character on the show.

If the writers go a different way than you suggested here, I might suggest to Bad Robot that they fire them and hire you to write the show instead. :)

Nice. I love the thought that he wouldn't necessarily notice right away. After all, he's been through quite a bit and probably is not at the top of his game right now. Who would be? And, I LOVE that he's approaching this as a con. I almost hate to say it, but I'd been missing angry Peter. Something tells me we'll be seeing him again next season.

A return to angry con artist Peter would next season would make me so happy; I've been missing it, too. And yeah, I'd be surprised if he doesn't notice something is up with the Olivia that returned with him.
