I'm sad to be of the same gender, and even more so I am sad for those of any gender who ate up what she said last night and think what a wholesome, smart, trustworthy woman she is. I can't believe some of her comments, some of the ones that bothered me the most were

i also liked how, in the katie couric interview, she said she would make abortion illegal and THEN advise victims of inscest and rape to choose life. that's like hitting people in the head with a hammer and then advising them to get a headache . . .

it's a sad day when katie couric seems reasonable or intelligent . . .

I was thinking that same thing about Couric...perhaps Palin's greatest blow against decency so far is making Katie Couric relevant again...
