I asked Lyndon last night if he would mind if I start looking for a part-time job around the end of summer. He is totally supportive...whatever I want to do

I dont think you should feel guilty karin. Not at all. I think you should be glad that you have a handle on what you want and what you are going to need, and if thats a part time job then I think its a good thing you realize that. The office sounds fantastic especially because you can bring kira. good luck!
Its good that you see the signs coming and know that you need to do something about it. Just remember that happy mommies and daddies have happy babies. Your old job sounds like an ideal oppertunity for you. I *had* to go back to work after having Lorelei, and I only took 6 weeks off before I started at the plumbing place, but I was able to bring her with me and that just made it a whole lot easier on me. I would have been a mess having to leave my 6 week old somewhere for most of the day. By the time she was like 6 months and I had her at work with me for so long, I was ready for the break and didn't feel horribly guilty about leaving her at daycare. I've heard that a lot of SAHM's have a problem with loosing the adult connection, and its important to have that - don't feel guilty about it!
That sounds like a great way to ease into things and see if it's something you want to continue to do. Do what makes you happy and don't feel guilty about it because happy parents = happy children.
Thanks, guys. We'll see what happens in the next couple of months. Who knows...maybe Lyndon will strike gold and he can stay home with Kira and I can go get a job at McDonald's? That would work for me. LOL
