I think I have to go to stupid prom alone. This isn't a ploy to get some guy to be like "Oh, Laura, I will totally take you to prom!" because I've already tried that. This is just a rant. I hate to admit it, but i AM one of those stupid girls who really doesn't want to go unless they have a date. Call me whatever, but I'll just feel so not cool if

You need to remmeber you are a whole person by yourself. You don't "need" a boy to become whole. (Easy for me to say, I have Zac I suppose)

I bet many internet friends haven't actually met you, and I have. So trust my opinions, you are nice, fun, pretty... you just need a little confidence and to shrug off that need for a man. When you get one, you'll only spend half your time bitching anyways.

As I commented on your myspace, I went to my prom alone, I had a good time, Muffet commands you to get a top/dress /whatever, dress up like a princess and go and have a good time! Damn outdated patriarchal society rules!

yeah, i'm not going with someone either. but that's ok! prom is about spending time with your friends...saying goodbye...you don't need to be attached to someone the entire night.

but i agree with you...i hate prom. and the damn tables *shakes fist*
