Maybe it's the bit of pesimist in me, but I always get a bit nervous when things start going really good for me....  However, having said that, I had the shittiest year from hell last year, so maybe karma's balancing out and letting things go my way for a while

Congratulations!!! I know that at times you had your doubts, but I knew you could do it! I'm so happy for you :) You totally deserve it after working so hard and getting so little out of it for so long. I know how tempting it is to be wary and wait for the bad news, but make sure you're enjoying the good news, too! As soon as you get a job and settle wherever it is, I'll have to come visit. I miss you! Good luck on everything! You deserve this! Enjoy it! Be proud!

Hey, just wanted to add my congratulations on you NAVLE's. I just got back into port (we've been out since Wednesday, and I haven't been home since Monday night so I haven't had lj access in 5 days) and got home and haven't actually seen your post about the certification yet, but congrats none the less. I know yuo've been working your butt off the whole time I've known you for this, and I'm proud of you.
Good luck with everything, and maybe I'll see you around SD sometime, since I seem to be going there quite often
