Monsters.
Monster of the Week.
The Hookman: the spirit of Rev. Jakob Carnes, who preached against immorality and the Red Light District. Incarcerated until hanging after murdering 13 prostitutes on 9 Mile Road. Earlier, he'd lost a hand in an accident, and had it replaced with a hook. This became the murder weapon. He's now a poltergeist, haunting those who live in the rectory, carrying out their subconscious morality plays. His power comes not only from his bones, but from his hook.
The matter of killing him is complicated by the fact that he was buried in an unmarked (but for the symbol on his hook) grave, and his hook was donated to St. Barnabas Church, his parish, and re-forged.
Stats.
