Belle & Sebastian have become associated with the advent of short Autumn days and cold, isolated, rugged-up walks into the city night. Their lovely melodies provide such a warmth, as if by Glaswegian neccessity. records are wonderful, even more so for being so brief.. only 20 minutes? -pout-

Indeed, sophtware slump. The first song is SO good. And it goes for a sufficient amount of time for me to drift off with it. It's great not to worry about a good song ending too soon. But the Weezer-esque songs don't really rub me. It may take some time + coercion. Still, I can see that it isn't quite as well thought out as OK Computer. It seems a little too simplistic. Nonetheless, the ideas are still nice and thoughtful.

What is it about records that you like? Do you think the sound is superior? Or does one just get a nice warm feeling from sitting there and interacting with the music?
