I'm not happy right now.  The day seemed to go well enough, until I went to get my paycheck and was told I hadn't payed a bill I thought I had.  I was told I had to pay it by transferring money with the ATM.  My supervisor tried to explain it to me, but I couldn't figure it out.  On the way to do that, I snagged one of my tires on a sharp curb and ( Read more... )

You most certainly don't have to change them in pairs. And if you get to look at the used one before he puts it on, make sure the grooves are at least half a penny (or a one yen coin, I guess) deep--like if you stick a penny in a groove, half of it should be buried. Or more than half. yeah, maybe don't take the used one. But you only need one tire.

You should be fine with changing the one tire. Unless you're keeping this car long-term, I think the changing in pairs is meant for rotation purposes.

So did you have a long weekend b/c of American Thanksgiving? Or do they have like Asian-Thanksgiving with Duck and Rice :P

Long weekend because of "labor thanksgiving day" Sort of a labor day holiday that falls near thanksgiving and tries to steal its name.
