I think one part of the algorithm that determines IMDB popularity is how many times or how often a name is clicked on/someone goes to the link. So if you've all been looking at each other's, your ranks will rise!

Well, the weird part is, we all just sort of found this out this week. So if that's LAST week's popularity rankings, then that's just bizarre, and next week's will be even MORE increased.

Again, who put us in there in the first place? LOL!
