biography subject to change P:

Name: Lucas

Age: Nineteen

Occupation: Royal Advisor/fledgling Aura Guardian

Pokemon "Team":

Espeon - Male
Given to Lucas as an Eevee; when he's not assiting Lucas keep track of the Prince he can be found in the castle library asleep in the sun.

Lucario - Male
Lucas's first and most trusted Pokemon. He fights the odd battle Lucas participates in and helps his master hone his Aura skill.

Ponyta (shiny) - Female
Lucas's steed. Was originally the royal family's until it took a liking to him; they let him keep it.

Appearance:
Lucas is tall, stately, and serious-looking. He's not too muscled, but not skinny enough to look gangly. His hair is messy and midnight blue; his eyes are a dark shade of grey, almost black. His clothes are very fine and well-kept. He wears a crushed-velvet beret with a feather adorning it, a long white cape, a blue tunic, puffy shorts and stockings of the same color. He oft carries a book round with him, whether it be on magic or legends or proper royal etiqutte for the Prince's benefit; other times, he has a large staff topped with he Twinleaf Kingdom insignia for assistance in aura/combat/looking cool. Alternatively, here.

Personality:
Lucas is super srs. While he was always serious by nature, he was raised with the expectations of being an advisor which left him austere and particularly deadpan. He will almost always prefer to study or do his work than to follow the shenanigans of the Prince(although that doesn't keep him from ending up doing it anyway), and can spend hours in the library reading or practicing his (admittedly limited) magic.

He is also tremendously polite and formal; he will bow, nod, and "Yes, your Highness" under almost all circumstances, no matter how ridiculous. He will, in fact, find it difficult to become less formal, and will struggle with calling Barry just "Barry," which sometimes gets him in trouble when Barry's trying to talk to him as Lucas and not as his Royal Advisor.

Aside from his businesslike nature, Lucas has an adventurous side to him that comes out at times, albeit rarely. When he and Prince Barry go on a particularly invigorating enterprise, there's a certain flash in his eyes, a certain quirk of his lips that gives away the fun he's having. However, it can disappear in an instant and sometimes he'll end up turning the adventure into an opportunity to get Prince Barry to do some studies.

Biography:
Lucas remembers naught of his mother and father; he knows only that they were close to the royal family and that is how he ended up at his position. He was raised by Sir Rowan, the previous Royal Advisor, and always played together with the younger Barry(if you could call sitting and watching him mess around with chickens "playing"). He always looked out for the rambunctious Prince regardless, which only furthered him into his soon-to-be job.

Early on, the Prince was betrothed to a Princess from the next kingdom, a demure girl named Dawn. Lucas began to watch out for the both of them, as was his duty; however, he developed a liking towards the Princess. He buried it almost completely, of course, as it was impossible for it to bring about any good, but it has stuck with him and he still harbors feelings for her--even if he is greatly ashamed by them.

Lucas soon met his Riolu, and developed a deep bond with it. Sir Rowan noticed this, and when he was old enough he brought him to Sir Riley for him to train under for Aura, which he did--and still does-- for several years. He also had him begin training in magic arts, although he hasn't quite harnessed anything of use with it yet.

While Lucas's position is the Royal Advisor, it may as well be the royal babysitter(or less harsh, bodyguard)- it seems that's what he does most, following the Prince on whatever haphazard quests he drags them into and making sure he comes to no(or a minimal amount of) harm. When they become older, he will be more of an "advisor" and less of a "nanny," but for now he's stuck trailing after His Majesty.
