i do a good job of holding myself together so know one can see my pain. except a few people who see right through me and that is maybe 3 people, and even then not really... but man on the days it feels like someone opened the salt shaker and poured it on my heart she knows, which is frustrating because you can't tell it by just looking at me. you' ( Read more... )

I hope things get better for you. I have had my share of very freaking shitty things happen, but you know what, I think in the end they all made me a stronger, better person. The best thing I can suggest is to talk to someone. Livejournal is great, but it doesn't quite do the trick. The best solution is to talk a professional. A neutral third party's opinion is always good. You don't have to worry about manipulation, motivation, etc. You can really let your guard down. Another option is to talk to a close friend, but you need to be honest, and you need to pick someone who's a good listener. If all else fails, just find someone random. Keeping it inside is never a good thing!

Excellent.. Just remember that "this too shall pass." Without going into too much detail, I was in a car accident three years ago that ended up Killing a good friend of mine who was a passenger in the car. The car flipped on its side and caught fire (which was put out quickly by some nice folks.) My friends body laid on top of me for about 30 minutes while the firemen cut us out. The accident was my fault and I was hurt pretty bad. At the time, I thought my life was over. The justice system took good care of me giving me only probation, a fine, and a suspended liscense (The accident was at 10:30AM with no alchohol, drugs, etc. I was out of the hospital in five days and I ended up recovering to 100% in two months.

Life ended up going on. Here I sit three years later married to an awesome woman, with an awesome dog, and owning a great House. I know the future seems a long way away, but it will be here quicker than you think!
