the aberdeen bestiary

my homework is to research the aberdeen Bestiary, which is a really old manuscript made by monks 900 years back....... it was handwritten in ink on animal flesh (im pretty sure) but its like an encyclopedia of animals...... but its amazing

well they do, they tend to put all the mythological aminals right next to everyday ones e.g. talking about lions only having one enemy the dragon

its been speared through the side and its ring looks like a geyser. and yet it still looks like it has a smile on its face. i think we could all learn a valuable lesson from this bull.

The bonnacon is an Asian beast whose head is like a bull but his horns curl inwards so that they do not harm the victim. - whats the point in that then? sounds to me like these monks found one deformed bull with sting ring and thought they'd discovered a new species.
