Went to the beach today with Dan(gle). It was wonderfully empty of screeching, snot nosed, sugar fueled kids ......nothing makes a trip to the fun beach more enjoyable than the lack of children having fun. you need to unstick the tentacally suction cups of technology .... hmm i have a picture in my head of what technology metaphorically morphs into ...kinna like a big blind semi-transparent shimmery jellyfish ....sheltering you like an umbrella but with its food finding tentacles tightly around your brain ...hmm quite a gloomy picture ive painted ...im sure its not that bad:)

it is bad in some ways. But what can i say? i'm totally connected to the wired, i didnt have internet access last night and i freaked out about it.. am i that dependent? its like nicotene.. i don't want it... i'm not sure if i like it, but i neeeeed it.

but hell i'd rather sit at home mindlessly staring at a monitor in the warmth than being at the beach... or would i? i dunno... anyway its a good image you got going there. reminds me of the thing in the end of "the astronauts wife". which i saw last night.. its good.. gotta go to work.... sorry for the lengthy post, i got carried away.

well its definitely the easiest way of communicating with people ...does that not mean that al your social skills are evaporating? I know mine are ...im not sure i even had any in the first place actually.

yeah the good image i painted is probably better than the real thing ...so i insist that once a week you imagine yourself doing something outdoorsy and daylighty ...and make sure its a good picture ...wow the possibilities are endless

I'm sooo jealous! I have all my best days at the beach with you! Like easter when Gemma was up .. and my Birthday when we skated back into town and went to the Lucky Boat. Haha .... just remembered you're sleeping in the corner just now. I could just wake you up and tell you this - thank Livejournal for your uninterupted sleep.

do you remember the "your the only whoo...im the only me" day? when we innocently stumbled into a christian fete ...we narrowly escaped with our belief system intacked.
And the walk from the Don to the Dee on shrooms :) footdee, pocra quay, surrounded by jellyfish .... blah blah

and id tooootally forgotten all about the conceptual differences between Barney and Bjork ...
