To my friends at MCLA.... I just want to let all of you who read this that unfortunately I will not be living on campus this year. I made the decision on thursday when my family and I found out that my mom has bone cancer. They found some cancer in her bone marrow so she began chemotherapy last friday. I decided that I would just commute back and

I'm sorry about your mom. I hope she'll be fine. But family is always more important, I think, so you're probably best staying home.
