I have to think that the fight would go something like, Rachel morphs into a bear or an elephant, Luna gets excited and starts making requests, Rachel morphs one of her alien forms...then the two go off in search of weird creatures for Rachel to aquire so Luna can study them in depth, in blonde friendship.

Regardless of the outcome of the poll (OK, the outcome of the poll is pretty easy to predict at this point, but still) I choose to accept this as my cage match headcanon.

This was hard! I wanted both Luna and Rachel to win, and both Nancy and Diane and both Claudia and Laura. I'm still not sure about the first one, unless it's decided that no morphing is allowed.

I'll admit to not really loving Animorphs so I'm biased. But even if Rachel morphs, then Luna could transfigure herself. Or call on her Patronus to fight for her. (ATTACK BUNNY!)

Also she can be a lion. ;)

Oh, you're right. I'd forgotten that if mophing was allowed then transfiguring and patronuses would of course be too.

I love Luna to death, moreso than I like Rachel as a character in fact, but what decided my vote was: who would be more determined to win? And Luna was very willing to fight for her cause and her friends, but Rachel died for hers.

Guys, I think Vicky would beat Anne. Vicky does have some slight supernatural powers. She can communicate telepathically with dolphins and certain like minded humans!

Both sensitively written young women, though!
