Hello everyone! Thanks for voting in the nominations round. We have now narrowed the field down to 64 competitors. I'm very excited for the rest of the game.

Godgodgod I feel horrible but I voted for Alice to beat Hermione. Just...she can see her moves before she makes 'em, ya know?

Um, except Hermoine is friends with WEREWOLVES (werewolf?) and thus Alice can't see what she's doing also Hermoine has MAGIC and brains and Alice just has a cheerful attitude.

The Quileute aren't really werewolves (just ask them) and even if they were, Lupin's not the same kind. Also, I'm betting nobody asked Lupin to come to this dance. So Alice FTW.

Katsa'a grace is survival. And being incredibly deadly in the pursuit thereof. Lyra's terrific, but she doesn't stand a chance in a cage match.

The fact that Katsa's grace is survival means she's PRETTY darn hard to beat in a cage match. I would pick her for the winner of the whole thing if her book was more well-known. I think that's why Lyra is winning?

I feel like Lyra is actually a really good opponent for Katsa, because while Katsa, obviously, is ace at survival, there's canonical evidence for her grace not stopping her from getting her brain scrambled (her reaction to Leck), and that's what Lyra is excellent at. So, if Lyra turns up the bamboozling and distracts her, there's always Pan to take her out. (I wonder if daemons can turn venomous when they assume the shape of something that is?)

Well Hermione is winning by quite a lot, so Alice needs your vote. I blame this on having more HP people on my flist than anything else.
