I'm less knowledgeable about Granny Weatherwax, though I did read up on her fighting chops. They're impressive, but I think this is a fair fight. I think Toby's shown that she can push back against compulsions, so even if Granny did manage to "borrow" her mind, I'm not convinced Toby wouldn't manage to cut her anyways.

And who's to say that being half-Fae makes you more vulnerable to someone who's capable of defeating a pureblood?
