And how was your trip?? I caught a glimpse of your facebook postings, but not too many details.
How did you like Yellowstone?
I'm not really sure what there is to do in SLC... I want to go to Park City, though, because Everwood was filmed there! (Too bad it's not still in production, those would be fun pictures.)
I'm going to do a big FB picture post with details in the next couple of days when I have time.
Yellowstone was nice. I have tons of pictures there.
In SLC, we went to Antelope Island in the morning (in the middle of the Great Salt Lake) and did a short hike (there's other stuff to see like a working ranch and stuff). We also wandered Temple Square and the grounds of the State Capitol. We were able to do both of the latter super-easily because we were in a hotel in the city center, and all that was walking distance.

The reference is from Friends, Rachel says it. I like chocolate chip or macadamia nut chocoloate chip cookies.
I'm going to Vegas this weekend and I almost stayed at Excalibur...but I'm staying in Paris. Now I'm scared to eat anything. Maybe I'll just eat chocolate pudding like Charlotte in the SATC movie.... oh wait, that didn't really work.
It is terrible to be sick on a vacation, especially that way. I can't wait for your opinion of Salt Lake City. I hope you went for a tour of the Temple area. It is quite an eye-opening experience. I think you are going a similar way as we might when we leave Madison a week from Monday. Glad you are feeling better.
You know, I didn't go to the Temple thing. It kind of seemed like a whole day activity, and I only had a couple of hours. I chose the Olympic museum and Park City instead.
Salt Lake City was beautiful, but with a weird vibe. Park City is just a total movie star town. Reminded me of Aspen.

Ona happier note, we loved, loved, loved Salt Lake City. It was a lot of fun.
Wyoming has more deer than people. Can't comment on South Dakota.
I hope that the trip returns to its earlier splendor and that you're back to 100% soon.
