So this was my second contribution to that midnight drabble party.

shimshake ’s prompt was Jones in loss of gravity and
alpha_hydra stipulated that I add the use of hypos… so here it is.
"Dammit, Jim! Hold still!!" came the gruff command as the so-called "Captain" once again pitched forward and ended up on the opposite side of the room.
"Zero gravity, Bones," Jim said gleefully and dodged another hypospray aiming for his neck by weightlessly floating away. "Can't exactly stay put now, can I?"
The irritated doctor braced himself against the wall with one hand, watching as his Captain and best friend cheerily moved about the room like a seven year old playing in a swimming pool. Of course Jim had to be having the time of his life while Leonard was stuck in fucking zero-gravity like he needed to be reminded just how much he hated space. The stress was only increasing the longer Jim continued to avoid Leonard's hypo, and no, it wasn't on the account that he was hypo-happy like Jim so loved to suggest, but that the young captain seriously had some major issues with his immune system and Leonard didn't need to have those worries piling up on his shoulders on top of everything else.
"Jim," he said quietly, and his voice must have been serious enough to stop Jim from pushing off the wall again to shoot himself to the other side of the room.
"Bones?" he responded, keeping still long enough for Leonard to move close enough without having to strain to reach him. His blue eyes were earnest enough, but Leonard knew it wouldn't last for long before the kid inside came bursting through. So Leonard did the only thing he could think of. He kissed him.
Jim stilled, shocked, and Leonard stuck the needle of the hypo into this neck before Jim had any time to react. Jim gasped and slumped forward against Leonard's chest, the sedative quick to work in his system.
Just then the gravity kicked back in, slamming Leonard and his unconscious patient down to the floor painfully. Leonard groaned, slowly picking himself up, hauling Jim up onto the nearest bio-bed there and running a tricorder over the body of his best friend. He didn't allow himself to think about how much he would have liked to enjoy that moment, just swept a medical hand over Jim's brow before turning to get back to work.
