Last year when this whole thing happened I had no feelings inside of me. Not even an ounce of patriotism. I was just numb and shocked. These last few days watching television and hearing people tell their stories about thier loved ones that they lost in the attack, it just made me cry. Yes, for the first time I actually cried about this whole attack. I know it took a full year for me to finally feel something, but the sad thing is people lost their sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, friends, and I just keep thinking that if I had lost someone close to me on 9/11 one year ago I probably would have hung myself from the Brookly Bridge, because I would not know how to deal with losing someone whose life was taken away from me. To be honest with you, Pat, I even stopped beleiving in God ever since 9/11 last year, I just think religion brainwashes people like it did with them terrorists, they did it in the name of "GOD". Call me crazy but I really think that religion was a major cause of this whole mess. People need to open their eyes and

but what about all the people who wrongly targetted arab/arab-looking people after the attacks? there are definitely a lot of ignorant people in the world and America has its share, a lot of people here can't say whatever they want to say... food for thought.

...but i am glad i am here and not somewhere else, that's for sure.
