So the third place I applied at today turned me down. Said they had about three hundred and sixty college kids all clamoring for the job and all of 'em sure looked a heck of a lot better for it than I did.

You could always sic Akamaru on cats to get them up trees, then get the owners to pay you to climb to their rescue.

Problem being that Akamaru needs to be not hungry enough to eat said cats before I can rescue them.

Speaking of distress, d'you think there's any chance I could bum dinner off Chouji tonight? My stomach's trying to devour my backbone and I think it's doing a pretty good job of it.

Uh...depends on what d'you mean by 'know'. I listen to the radio all the time, but I don't collect many albums as my dog eats his weight in cash. I'm a quick learner, though! And if you're willing to give me a try, I'll do my best.

Definitely. You know Chouji--a day of thinking equals a night of cooking and eating. If you put your wolfish skills to work you could probably get scraps.

We're getting pretty good at wheedling. Akamaru can do puppy-eyes better than any dog I've ever met. Never mind that a dog his size and breed shouldn't be able to do puppy-eyes in the first place.

And hey, I always usually leave some for you.

I was talking about the fact that you don't want to see how Chouji gets if you take the last piece...-shakes his head and throws his hands up in the air- it's pretty intense.
