Whoops

Leaving on Thursday without my laptop, which means no internet, and from now until then I will be busy with packing and last-minute planning of things. So calling a hiatus for a week! I will probably be back July fourth in time for mistletoe. This applies to Machika, Leo, and Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler.

In the meantime, let’s do memes! I ( Read more... )

She's a spunky little mutant! Kind of has a lot of attitude, but it's not the bad kind and he is used to dealing with people like that. Brianna and the other mutants/superheroes make Kurt feel very at home in Camp, because it means he and Rogue aren't the only weird freaks with powers. She seems like a fun kid to hang out with, but he's kind of wary of her because he knows she could totally trick him into doing something he wouldn't want to do. He is aware of it, and yet it will totally happen anyways.

REVERSE LIKE A PICKUP TRUCK INTO A MINIVAN. Tell me I am cool, tiny superhero.

NIGHTCRAWLER, YOU DON'T LOOK LIKE THE DUDE FROM THE MOVIES AT ALL. But it's cool. You're just a kid, so maybe that's why you look so normal.

Brianna likes Kurt! He's a mutant so that automatically makes him cooler than he would be otherwise. Brianna knows she had a major bad attitude when they first met because she was all pissy about another speedster showing up, but she didn't have anything against him personally and she wants to bug him again. 8D

What are your three favorite icons for him?

I'm too lazy to switch accounts, so here is an icon with a book. :|b

Leo's first impressions on Nowaki? They threaded. Once. It counts.

chicksdigfuzz June 28 2011, 05:13:56 UTC
IT TOTALLY COUNTS.

Leo was amnesia'd when they talked, and thus...extremely wary of everyone ever. But Nowaki was nice and pleasant and did not exhibit crazy dangerous tendencies and talked to him about books. Nowaki has that...big fuzzy teddy bear vibe to him. It's rather soothing to be around, and Leo appreciates that in the midst of camp, where people are very LOUD. And now that he has his memories back, Leo can also appreciate that Nowaki is an adult that is not a complete dickface like 75% of Pandora Hearts Bad Adult Figures. But overall he has that vague "he seems like a nice person" feeling from Nowaki, which is about as good as it gets for first impressions from Leo.

Any thoughts back?

Oh hahaha I love that Nowaki is repeatedly referred to as a big teddy bear. ♥ He liked Leo, although the amnesia thing was Concerning. :< When they talk again he'll be glad to hear that he's got his memories back! Overall he thinks that Leo is a nice kid and he liked talking about books with him. Leo has been added to his list of people he wants to introduce to Hiro (...unless they already threaded at some point, in which case :DD his work here is done).

I'm pretty sure Leo has not, in fact, met Hiro yet. This only means Nowaki has to set up a playdate.

Going to start off easy with a relationship meme for Julian and Kurt, please?

chicksdigfuzz June 28 2011, 15:46:40 UTC
OKAY Kurt has made hasty generalizations about Julian (and Cess) haha. They are from the Institute, and for him everyone there is family! And they're used to new kids showing up, so for him it's just very natural to assume that Julian is now a part of his family. He's fun to talk to and hang out with, and Julian seems like a very take-charge kind of guy. But there are also things about Julian that kind of bug Kurt! Like their whole conversation about studying kind of gave Kurt a bad impression of Julian's...morals? Priorities? I am at a loss for the word but I think it's priorities. And Kurt thinks that Julian's X-men kind of suck compared to his, and he's starting to think that maybe things will only get worse as he grows up. Which means he's failed Julian as an adult! But...he's not that adult yet so there isn't anything he can do. There are too many complicated feeling wrapped up in this, sob. But Julian is family forever and that is what matters.

Reverse!

Julian is ... kind of weirded out, tbqh. He knows about people from different dimensions and the like, so objectively he knows that he shouldn't be weirded out, but he kind of is anyway, because he didn't expect to encounter it here. It's weirder about Kurt than Rogue because unlike Rogue, Kurt was Julian's teacher at one point, so there's a kind of expectation that Kurt will know who Julian is even when objectively he knows that there's no way ( ... )

...I guess the key word there is violently opposed...

I still can't really think of any. HANG ON, LET ME DIG DEEP.

-Elliot
-Doumeki
-Necoco
-Wendy Watson
-RANDOM STRANGERS?? because it doesn't matter.

THAT WAS SO HARD ughh. Honestly he doesn't care much about kissing, but it just makes things awkward. The people on his list are basically people who he thinks would not be awkward about it afterwords. And people who are not Alice.

What does Luke plan on doing after Camp? Or...does he not have any plans? :(

What's your favourite internal organ? I should jump one of your characters . . .

I picked gallbladder because my appendix does not let me breathe underwater. :(

You should! Uhm. We have CR for Machika and Cindy, and a little bit for Tiffany and Leo. What other kind of CR would you like/like to expand on?

But your gallbladder doesn't turn you into Kevin Costner in Waterworld.

I have only two characters . . . Tiffany should mingle with people closer to her own age once in a while. So maybe she could tag non-amnesia-Leo and Kurt.

I APPROVE OF THESE PLANS. Kurt is a derp and might try to flirt with her, though. How old is Tiffany again?

I HAVE NO IDEA IF I AM STILL SHARING THE HAPPY WITH YOU.

He remembers most of their first conversation, but basically by the time he met up with Elliot he was sufficiently wasted. As such, he doesn't remember a lot of anything past that. He's more concerned about figuring out how much he told people and is kind of terrified that he told Alice something that she isn't supposed to know (he...already knows he told Yuki but Yuki is a telepath and also is not Alice). But the first conversation gave him some kind of odd truce with Alice, even though they left on bad terms(?). Basically he is more okay with Alice. He still doesn't really like her because even excessive amounts of beer and wine will not fix that. But it let them talk more openly with each other than he was ever willing to before, and he was able to deal with his problems in an unhealthy manner. So the massive hangover was almost worth it ( ... )

She doesn't remember much. She knows she formed a sort of truce with Leo, but that doesn't affect the way she feels or thinks about him at all! Alice has always wanted to be friends with Leo and does genuinely like him! She has also been willing to "give up" Elliot to Leo for quite some time now, soooooo no change there! She's still annoyed with leo, of course, but eh. Whatever.

Her view on the being drunk in front of Elliot and Leo, however, is that it is embarrassing. She hopes she wasn't too rude or mean or just weird in general.

BASICALLY NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

Rec me a book! (totally a question)

THIS MEANS I WON

SOMEHOW

I am okay with this conclusion.

I pimped THE NAME OF THE WIND by Patrick Rothfuss on Cindy's meme a little while back and still fully support this book forever because I love it to death. I can't remember a book that I read before this or I would pimp a different one. I guess The Night Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks is pretty badass too. (The first book is called The Way of Shadows.) It's about this orphan kid (AREN'T THEY ALL) who wants out of the gang life and apprentices to the world's greatest assassin. The trilogy is about him growing up and learning to be an assassin and also having his other life as a noble's adopted son and he has dere for the noble's whole family and is bros with this other duke's son and is in love with this one girl but he can't tell her because it will blow is cover. There is also magic little orbs involved and they are like power rangers because they are different colors and I think they talk. It's set in this fantasy setting that is a blur of European and Oriental mixed ( ... )
