Zach's Santa Photo

We went to see Santa on Wednesday and it went great!  Santa really took his time to talk to us, complimenting Zach on the hat that he had insisted on wearing, and Zachary was thrilled.  So thrilled, in fact, that he could barely speak.  Now that's rare!!  He said, "Please, I would like a--a--a..." 
Santa asked, "A Thomas train?"  
Zach whispered, "No

That is SO cute! The story and the picture! I am so impressed with Zachary being so cool around Santa.. the majority of my friends with kids in the 18-28 month range are mostly not wanting anything to do with Santa!

Thanks! Zach is very into Santa which I think is very odd, because Bryan and I really don't talk about Santa much. Zach has opened and led all Santa discussions. Last year I wasn't even planning on taking him, but he was sooooo drawn to Santa that I caved. (I mean, we came back the next day dressed appropriately, but Zach was reaching for Santa and when we got to the front of the line he RAN to go sit on his lap!)

Oh my gosh! He looks like such a big boy! When did that happen? (Sometime between last year's Santa pic and this year's, apparently!) So, so cute.

(I have no idea what's up with cuts lately, mine have been all kinds of crazy too.)

Can you believe that tall drink of water? His long legs hanging off of Santa's lap just crack me up. Oh, and *he* picked out the "Christmas sweater" at Old Navy, but I haven't let him wear it much, trying to protect it from snags for the last few weeks. When I said we needed to pick clothes for his Santa photo, he yelled, "Christmas sweater! YAAAYY!!!"

Zoey said hi, took a look, and ran clear across the mall screaming for her Grandma... haha...

Thanks. =) I honestly don't know why Zach is so in love with Santa. Especially when he is soooo shy with other "strangers". He even happily let Santa pick him up (for the lap-sitting), and Zachary does NOT let strangers touch him! It was just a bit of Christmas magic, I guess.
